Warranties Specialist

Daimler Truck & Bus Romania is looking for Warranties Specialist, to join our After -Sales Trucks team in Bucharest area!

Warranty Specialist uses knowledge, education and expertise to support Daimler business partners in realization and delivery of optimal data quality and customer oriented solutions, in accordance with Daimler policies, Vision, Mission, Values.

Responsabilities:

To check goodwill requests and the warranty and Service Contracts Claims from a technical and financial point of view, to comply with factory technical information and Daimler warranty rules;
To maintain warranty and service Contracts IT specific systems, by updating the settings, if requested
To know and stay up-to-date with all Warranty & Service Contracts rules & regulations and all Technical Information
To observe and report irregularities
To take part in regular meetings and discussions related to warranty & technical topics

Training and qualification:

University (Degree) - Mechanical engineer

Technical knowledge:

PC knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Language: English fluent (a second foreign language is a plus)
Strong digital skills (you will work in various specific IT programs)
Automotive background (previous experience in workshop activity is a plus)

Parts Engineering Specialist

We are the MB Truck Parts Engineering team and are part of the Customer Services & Parts MB Trucks division. We are responsible for designing/creation of an economical range of spare parts for all MB Trucks products (spare part assortment). We are already involved at the start of a vehicle or aggregate project and supplement the product from the first to the last day of production.

By defining spare parts in good time and supporting the parts until the product range is discontinued, we make an essential contribution to the availability of spare parts in the after-sales business and contribute to increasing customer satisfaction. Through our complex and comprehensive parts determination processes, we work at the interface between supplier, development, customer service, quality management and logistics.

Responsabilities:

Customer-oriented definition of spare parts under aspects of technical and economic criteria. Oriented on function modules or construction groups
Definition of the spare parts range with the involvement of the service areas, suppliers and Development. Task is to define the spare parts range and document the result in the corresponding development documentation systems. This ensures timely processing when starting up a new vehicle and updating models.
Evaluation of legal framework conditions and their effects on the spare parts business
Check of all design changes with regard to the spare parts range and implement the measures derived.
Optimization of the parts range in the series life cycle through permanent product range support and processing of internal and external enquiries on technical issues
Parts master data provision for subsequent processes in Primus
Implementation of technical requirements within the part-related processes (requests from logistics, catalogue documentation, customer service, etc.)
Processing of technical enquiries from the markets (XSF Last Level Support / FastLane process)

Training and qualification:

Technical studies or completed training as a technician or master mechanic
Several years of professional experience, knowledge of automotive technology

Technical knowledge:

Knowledge of after-sales product documentation, especially in EDS/BCS or NedWorkClient, Safira, Cortex, PRIMUS, XSF, 2D/3D drawings, iParts/AS-PLM and XENTRY Portal, VeDoc, MS Office
Knowledge of processes/methods in truck product documentation
Fluent English spoken and written

Parts Information Specialist

Daimler Truck & Bus Romania is looking for Spare Parts Information Specialist, to join our After -Sales Trucks team in Bucharest area! We, the After-Sales team, promote and sell the organization’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.

Responsabilities:

In time creation of spare parts information for all Daimler Trucks and special vehicles from start of production up to 15 years after end of production and provide the data for retail via XENTRY Portal
Solving of customer complaints via XSF tickets ( 3rd level Support )
Ensure the quality of spare parts information
Regularly meetings with TE/SCP -H regarding new products, SOP´s, quality, quantity of documentation
Create improvements for the spare parts documentation
Create spare parts information for both new products and change management of existing products

Training and qualification:

Completed technical studies or completed training as a technician or master mechanic
Several years of professional experience, deep knowledge of automotive technology especially truck technology

Technical knowledge:

Deep knowledge of after-sales product documentation, especially in EDS/BCS or NedWorkClient, iParts/AS-PLM and XENTRY Portal, VeDoc, MS Office
Knowledge of processes/methods in truck product documentation
Good technical understanding and high affinity to the product
Fluent english and /or german spoken word and written

Service Documentation and Technical Literature Specialist (SDTL)

Daimler Truck & Bus Romania is looking for Service Documentation and Technical Literature Specialist, to join our After -Sales Trucks team in Bucharest area! The Service Documentation and Technical Literature Specialist is documenting complex testing and repair methods for workshop operations as part of product projects and maintaining the current series.

We, the After-Sales team, promote and sell the organization’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.

Responsabilities:

Information research, conception and creation up to printing and e-approval for publication, if necessary with the help of service providers, which must be coordinated independently.
Ensuring uniform and consistent content in all types of literature according with guidelines
Develop and test working methods and processes for basic time determination and document in the DCRepa system.
Ensure on-time publication of workshop documents and standard repair times for new model launches.
Direct collaboration and information exchange with the required interface partners (service engineering, development, parts engineering, supplier, external service providers, sales, etc.).

Training and qualification:

University degree or college diploma

Technical knowledge:

Good knowledge of electric and mechanic for Daimler Trucks
Additional qualification in the area of REFA or MTM desirable
Language: Proficient and German is an added value
